Alert issued on contaminated chocolate

Centre for Food Safety Department

The Centre for Food Safety has advised consumers to stop eating a batch of Godiva chocolate due to possible contamination with metal fragments.

The affected products are Christmas Milk Caramel Carre chocolate squares sold in a 16-piece Christmas Carre Gift Box, which carries a product code of 5000059.

According to the local importer, the concerned products are available locally only in Godiva shops, which have stopped selling the products and initiated a recall.
