Cultural beat: Free outdoor Japanese and Chinese cultural performances will be held December 2 at the Cultural Centre Piazza from 2.30pm.

Free outdoor Japanese and Chinese cultural performances will be held December 2 at the Cultural Centre Piazza from 2.30pm.

The shows include performances of Japanese arts like wadaiko, judo, traditional music and dance.

Students from the Shaolin Monastery will perform flag dances and other traditional Chinese arts.

The event is jointly presented by the Leisure & Cultural Services Department and the Consulate-General of Japan, and is supported by the 2007 China-Japan Exchange Year of Culture & Sports and the Japan National Tourist Organisation.
