Exchange spotlights 300-day countdown to Games

*
Sports exchange programme
Active routine: Representatives from Hong Kong will demonstrate aerobics in the sports exchange programme.

Beijing-Qingdao-Hong Kong 2008 Olympic Games Co-host Cities Sports Exchange Programme will be held on October 13 and 14 to raise awareness of the 300-day countdown to the Beijing Olympics.

Representatives from the three co-host cities will demonstrate sports, including aerobic and rhythmic gymnastics, rope skipping, hip hop dance, roller-skating, shuttlecock kicking, Wushu and cheering team performance.

Public participation will also be invited.

A "Wishing Tree" will be set up at the venues for people to make wishes for the Olympic Games in Beijing. An exhibition and quizzes on exercises and health will be held to help the public better understand the importance of regular exercise and enhance their Olympic knowledge.

The programme will be held from 4-6pm at Olympian City in Tai Kok Tsui on October 13, and at Sunshine City Plaza in Ma On Shan on October 14.
