Man ill with Dengue fever
*
Centre for Health Protection

The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed an imported Dengue fever case, involving a 42-year-old Hung Hom man who fell ill after travelling to Thailand, bringing the year's total to 49.

He visited Thailand from September 9 to 15 and developed fever, bone and eye pain on September 21. He consulted a private doctor on September 24 and has recovered without hospitalisation. His family members and travelling companion did not have any symptoms.
