The Centre for Health Protection has today confirmed a Dengue fever case involving a 15-year-old boy living in Yuen Long, bringing the year's total to 48, all imported.

The patient developed fever, headache and a rash on September 16 and was admitted to Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital on September 18. He was discharged on September 26.

He had travelled to Pakistan from August 12 to September 8. His family members and travel companion did not have any symptoms of Dengue fever.
