The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed an Enterovirus-71 infection involving a 39-year-old woman.

She developed a rash on her hands and feet September 26. She consulted a private doctor and is now in stable condition.

Her three-year-old son was confirmed to have EV-71 on September 27 and has recovered.
