Causeway Bay eatery closure order lifted
*
Food & Environmental Hygiene Department

The Food & Environmental Hygiene Department has lifted the closure order imposed earlier on a Causeway Bay restaurant as it has taken remedial measures to ensure food safety.

The shop, at G/F 1 Tang Lung Street, was closed August 27 after five customers came down with food poisoning. The operator has taken remedial measures after the closure, including thorough cleaning and disinfection, and improved workflow procedures.

The department is satisfied the immediate health hazards have been eliminated. The operator and staff have been reminded to observe good personal, environmental and food hygiene at all times.
