Ballots Drawn for the Sale of Surplus HOS Flats Phase 2
Ballots drawn: Housing Authority Subsidised Housing Committee Chairman Professor Anthony Cheung and Assistant Director of Housing (Housing Subsidies) Albert Lee draw ballots for surplus Home Ownership Scheme flats.
*

Ballots have been drawn for the second batch of 3,255 surplus Home Ownership Scheme flats to determine

applicant selection priority, the Housing Authority says.

The ballot results are available here. They will also be posted tomorrow at the authority's customer service centre in Lok Fu, all public housing estate offices and at district offices. Applicants can call 2712 8000 for enquiries.

Detailed arrangements and notification for flat selection, along with the sales brochures, price list and other information, will be mailed to eligible applicants in batches according to ballot results.

The on-site show flats in Ka Keng Court and Kingsford Terrace will be re-opened to prospective buyers during the flat selection period. Applicants can make an appointment to view the returned flats as designated by the authority in eight different premises from tomorrow.

During the August 8 to 21 application period 14,383 applications were received, with 9,513 White Forms and 4,870 Green Forms.

A total of 3,255 flats in 28 courts are on sale in the current sales exercise including more than 1,000 unsold flats in Kingsford Terrace Stage II in Wong Tai Sin and Ka Keng Court in Tai Wai, as well as more than 2,000 returned flats in various premises. Also for sale are 16 flats in Verbena Heights in Tseung Kwan O developed by the Housing Society.
