The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed an imported Dengue fever case involving a 29-year-old Tai Po woman, bringing the year's total to 39.

She developed fever and headache on August 16 and was admitted to Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital on August 21. She has recovered and was discharged on August 27.

She had travelled to Thailand with her mother August 4 to 16.

Hong Kong saw 31 Dengue fever cases last year, all imported. Click here for prevention tips. The latest information on Dengue fever in other places can be found here.
