Housing Authority

Applications for the sale of 3,255 surplus Home Ownership Scheme flats will open from August 8 to 21, the Housing Authority says.

Ranging from 26.2 to 87.7 square metres in gross floor area, and 19.6 to 61.6 square metres in saleable area, the flats will be sold at a 30% discount from market value, priced from $247,500 to $2,472,900.

In addition to more than 1,000 unsold flats in Kingsford Terrace Stage II in Wong Tai Sin and Ka Keng Court in Tai Wai, eligible people can also choose from more than 2,000 resale flats in 28 courts throughout the city.

Pre-sale checks

Pre-sale defects rectification and maintenance work will be carried out for unsold flats and a one-year defects liability period will be offered. For returned flats and former decoration contractor show flats, basic inspection and repair works will be carried out before handover.

Sales information and application forms are available at the authority's Customer Service Centre in Lok Fu, all public rental housing estate offices, Sham Shui Po Housing Information Centre and all district offices. Enquiries can be made on 2712 8000.

On-site show flats in Kingsford Terrace and Ka Keng Court will open to the public from August 8 to 21. Reference photos of the returned flats will be available here.

Apart from the more than 3,000 flats offered by the authority, 16 flats in Verbena Heights, Tseung Kwan O, developed by the Housing Society will also be available for selection. For details, call 2839 7888.
