A starling found earlier in Mong Kok has been confirmed H5N1-positive, the Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department says.

 

The starling was collected at 101-109 Boundary Street on May 26 following a public referral.

 

People are reminded to observe good personal hygiene, avoid personal contact with wild birds and live poultry, and clean their hands thoroughly after coming into contact with them. For more prevention tips, click here.
