Applications for the Equal Opportunities (Sexual Orientation) Funding Scheme for 2007-08 are open. Application deadline is April 23.

Registered organisations or their sub-groups can apply. Projects must be non-profit-making and conducted in Hong Kong. They must be completed on or before January 31, 2008.

The scheme was launched in 1998 and is run on an annual basis. More than $4 million has been allocated to non-governmental organisations in the past nine years.

Application forms are available from the Home Affairs Bureau and Home Affairs Department's Public Enquiry Service Centres. They can also be downloaded from the bureau's website.
