Four members have been re-appointed to the Hospital Authority for a two-year term with effect from April 1 - Prof Lai Kar-neng, Lawrence Lee, Peter Lo and Charles Peter Mok.

Prof Lam Shiu-kum, former Dean of the University of Hong Kong's Faculty of Medicine, will retire from the board after six years of service.

Secretary for Health, Welfare & Food Dr York Chow thanked all members for their advice and contributions to the Hospital Authority in the past term.

From April 1, the authority's membership will include:
