People who want to become volunteers in the 2008 Olympic Equestrian Events are reminded to apply by December 22.

So far, more than 5,700 people have applied, and interviews have begun. About 100 will be selected for a 78-hour training programme to be held from February to April. Results will be announced by the end of January.

The Equestrian Company will recruit 1,800 volunteers to ensure the Olympic and Paralympic Equestrian Events in Hong Kong run smoothy.
