Festive fun: TOYS Theatre from Russia will perform at the Sha Tin Town Hall Plaza on December 31.

The New Year's Eve Countdown Carnival will be held December 31 in Sha Tin Park from 8.30pm, featuring European musicians and jugglers, a marching band, and tap and flamenco dancers.

An Italian-style castle will be erected in the park, featuring performances and entertainment. The castle will also be open to the public from 6pm to 10pm on December 30 and January 1.

At the Sha Tin Town Hall Plaza, the TOYS Theatre from Russia will present a performance featuring simple stories with music, dance, body movements and clown shows.

Kataklo Athletic Dance Theatre from Italy will showcase their original choreography and music. A re-run of the troupe's performance will be held on January 1 from 8pm.

The Prelude to the Countdown Carnival featuring programme highlights will be held December 30 from 4pm to 6pm. In the afternoons, the Equestrian Fun Park will be held at the park's Verandah, featuring four exhibitions.
