Another silver medal gained as games close

Squash player Chiu Wing-yin has won a silver medal in the Asian Games Women's Singles event in Doha, bringing Hong Kong's medal tally to six gold, 12 silver and 10 bronze.

 

Secretary for Home Affairs Dr Patrick Ho hailed Hong Kong's competitors, saying they have worked tirelessly and showed top sportsmanship.

 

"It is most encouraging that the Hong Kong delegation has put up, yet again, such an outstanding performance in the Doha Asian Games," he said.

 

The games close today.

* Table Tennis (Men's Doubles) - Ko Lai-chak and Li Ching;

* Badminton (Women's Singles) - Wang Chen;

* Bodybuilding (Men's 75kg) - Chan Yun-to;
