Applications have opened for the Leisure & Cultural Services Department's indoor soccer tournament, the 'Futsal' Competition & Carnival.

Application deadline is December 15. The event is a programme under the department's Kicking off from Tung Chung project.

The first day futsal play-in on January 13 is for walk-in participation, while competitions for those who have applied will be held the next day.

The mini-soccer competitions will take place in a fenced-off field measuring nine metres by 15. Competitions will be divided into three categories - open, youth and junior. Each team should comprise three to five players and no goalkeeper is needed.

Trophies and medals are up for grabs in the competition.
