The Home Affairs Bureau is seeking views on the state of implementation of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination in Hong Kong.
The Central Government will submit its combined 10th to 13th Periodic Report under the convention to the United Nations next year. In accordance with this timetable, Hong Kong has to, after seeking public views, prepare its report under the convention by March for incorporation as part of the Mainland's report.
An outline of the report is available here for the public comment on the range of issues covered by the convention. Views should reach the Secretary for Home Affairs, Home Affairs Bureau, 31/F, Southorn Centre, 130 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai, by January 8.
