Columbarium applications to open

*
Food & Environmental Hygiene Department

Sixty-two standard niches in the Wo Hop Shek Crematorium Columbarium will open to applications from December 6, the Food & Environmental Hygiene Department says. The charge for each standard niche and placing of a memorial plaque is $3,000 and $295.

They are the remaining stock of the 2,520 newly built niches in the columbarium, which were open for application last month.

Application forms are available at the department's Cemeteries & Crematoria Offices at 1J Wong Nai Chung Road, Happy Valley and Upper Ground Floor, 6 Cheong Hang Road, Hung Hom. The forms can also be downloaded here.

The daily quota for allocation is 30. Applications will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis. Successful applicants will be informed of an appointed date for completion of the application procedures with allocation of niches made.
