"Hong Kong Story" Calendar
Past and present: The 2007 Hong Kong Story Calendar will be distributed free from December 1.

The 2007 Hong Kong Story Calendar produced by the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education will be distributed to the public free on a first come, first served basis from December 1.

The calendar contrasts the Hong Kong of the past and the present, and highlights the people's unremitting perseverance.

The calendars will be distributed at the Home Affairs Department's Public Enquiry Service Centres, public libraries, city and town halls, the Cultural Centre, the Museum of History, and the Civic Education Resource Centre at 2/F Tung Sun Commercial Centre, 200 Lockhart Road, Wan Chai.

A temporary distribution counter will also be set up in the Kowloon Tong and Quarry Bay MTR Stations at 3pm and 5.30pm respectively on December 1. The counters will close when stocks run out.

To publicise the calendar, the committee will hold a sharing session at 7.30pm tomorrow at Leighton Hill Community Hall, Happy Valley. A number of renowned speakers will share their memories and experiences of past and present Hong Kong.
