Carefully crafted: Handicrafts made by prisoners will be sold at the Correctional Services Department Sports Association's 54th Autumn Fair. Proceeds go to charity.
*

The Correctional Services Department Sports Association will hold its 54th Autumn Fair in Stanley on November 4 to solicit community support for offenders' rehabilitation.

The fair will feature 40 stalls selling art and handicrafts, toys, and rattan and wooden furniture made by prisoners. All proceeds from the sales will go to charity, including services for prisoners' welfare.

Entertainment will include a variety show, an auction, a marching band, a lion dance, a dog training demonstration and a lucky draw.

The free fair will take place from 11am to 5pm on the sports field next to Stanley Prison. It is accessible by bus routes 6, 6X, 63, 73, 260 and 973, and green minibus routes 40 and 52.
