The Centre for Health Protection is investigating a suspected food poisoning case involving 16 primary school children in Ma On Shan. The outbreak is believed to be bacterial.
The 12 boys and four girls, aged six to 13, came down with vomiting, diarrhoea, nausea, and abdominal pain after consuming meals provided by a supplier during lunch time at school. They sought medical treatment from the Prince of Wales Hospital and none required hospitalisation.
