The Centre for Health Protection is investigating a Dengue fever case involving a 38-year-old North Point man, bringing the year's total cases to 21, all imported.

He came down with fever on August 9 after travelling to Bangladesh from July 30 to August 6. He has recovered after seeking treatment in a private hospital on Hong Kong Island.

People should stay alert to the threat of Dengue fever and take measures against mosquito breeding. Travellers should wear long-sleeved tops and trousers, and use insect repellent. If feeling unwell after returning from abroad, consult a doctor.
