The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed the year's second Streptococcus suis case, involving a 59-year-old Tseung Kwan O man.

He came down with fever, chills, rigor, knee pain and headache on June 27 and was admitted to Tseung Kwong O Hospital on July 3. His condition is stable.

He visited Zhuhai from June 23 to 24, and his family members have no symptoms.
