The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed Dengue fever in a 32-year-old woman, bringing the year's total cases to 14, all imported.

The patient arrived in Hong Kong on May 30 from Indonesia and came down with fever and headache on June 10. She was treated in Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital and has recovered. Her family members have no symptoms.

People should stay alert to the threat of Dengue fever and take measures against mosquito breeding. Travellers should wear long-sleeved tops and trousers, and use insect repellent. If feeling unwell after returning from abroad, consult a doctor.
