The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed two enterovirus-71 cases involving 15-year-old boys, bringing the year's total to six.
The first patient developed oral sores and blisters over his hands and feet on May 20. He is now stable and does not require hospitalisation. His family members have no symptoms.
The other developed similar symptoms on May 22. He is stable and does not require hospitalisation. His 11-year-old sister was diagnosed to have hand, foot and mouth disease on May 28. Other family members have no symptoms.
