The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed an enterovirus-71 case involving a 15-year-old girl, bringing the year's total to four.
She developed oral sores and blisters over her hands and feet on May 21. She is now stable and does not require hospitalisation.
Her family members have no symptoms. The Department of Health has contacted her school and three other students were found to have hand-foot-mouth symptoms. They have been put under medical surveillance. Health advice has been offered to the school.
