Two patients test positive for Norovirus
*

Two Pok Oi Hospital patients in a rehabilitation ward have tested positive for Norovirus after five patients and one staff of the ward came down with diarrhea on May 11, the hospital says.

Three patients were transferred to Tuen Mun Hospital's isolation ward, and the other two patients have recovered. The staff member is on sick leave.

Admissions to the affected ward are suspended and infection-control measures have been stepped up. All patients are under close medical surveillance.

The New Territories West Cluster Infection Control Team has reported the cases to the Hospital Authority and the Centre for Health Protection for necessary follow-up.
