New Kwai Chung park opens

*
Shek Pai Street Park
Fun facility: Shek Pai Street Park's children's playground.
*

The new Shek Pai Street Park will give Kwai Chung residents a pleasant landscape and sitting-out areas, and a range of leisure facilities.

At 13,000 square metres, the park is the latest addition to the Leisure & Cultural Services Department's venues, featuring a host of facilities like a foot massage path and children's playground. A staircase in the park leads to Shek Lei Adventure Playground.

The park also offers a seven-a-side hard-surface soccer pitch and two hard-surface basketball courts. The pitch is built with a spectator stand that can accommodate 150 people.

It complements Kwai Tsing's other facilities, like Tsing Yi Park, Tsing Yi Promenade and Hing Fong Road Garden.
