Restrictions on French poultry meat imports, including goose liver, have been partially lifted, the Food & Environmental Hygiene Department says.

Following control measures taken by France following an outbreak of avian influenza in a turkey farm on February 23, the department will resume processing its applications for poultry imports, except for four areas - Ain, Saone-et-Loire, Rhone and Isere. These places remain under surveillance.
