The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed an imported case of Dengue fever involving a 25-year-old Kwai Chung woman.

She came down with fever, muscle pain and a headache on April 3 after returning from Thailand and was admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital two days later in stable condition.

One of her travel companions showed similar symptoms and has been discharged from hospital.

This is the seventh imported Dengue fever case this year.
