The Centre for Health Protection is investigating the food poisoning of 17 people.
The eight men and nine women, aged four to 83, developed abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhoea and fever after having dinner in a Kwai Fong restaurant on April 8.
Fifteen sought treatment at Princess Margaret, Union, Tuen Mun and Yan Chai Hospitals and two others consulted private doctors. One was admitted to Union Hospital in stable condition.
Bacterial contamination is the likely cause for the outbreak. Further investigations are underway.
