Three more women have come down with diarrhoea symtoms, bringing the total infected at the Buddhist Hospital to 15.

Two of the infected are patients aged 78 and 94 while the other is a staff member. All are being treated and are in stable condition.

There will be no admission to and discharge from the ward for the time being. All other patients in the ward are under close surveillance. Infection control measures have been enhanced and visiting remains normal.

The cases have been reported to the Hospital Authority and the Centre for Health Protection.
