Peregrine Falcon H5N1-positive

Laboratory tests have confirmed that the Peregrine Falcon found dead in Tin Shui Wai on March 21 was H5N1-positive, the Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department says.

 

People are reminded to observe good personal hygiene. They should avoid personal contact with wild birds and live poultry and clean their hands thoroughly after coming into contact with them.
