Patrick Ho mourns district councillor
*

Secretary for Home Affairs Dr Patrick Ho has expressed his sadness at the death of Central & Western District Council member Henry Leung.

 

He was elected as a member in 2000 and re-elected in 2004. He was injured in a traffic accident in October and died today.

 

Dr Ho said: "I am deeply saddened to learn of the death of Mr Leung. I very much appreciate his enthusiasm for and dedication in serving the community. Mr Leung's death is a great loss to the District Council. On behalf of my colleagues, I extend my deep condolences to his family."
