The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed a case of Legionnaires' disease involving a 64-year-old man living on the Mainland, the second case this year.
The patient developed shortness of breath, cough, weakness and poor appetite on February 17. He came to Hong Kong on February 21 and was admitted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital on the same day. He is now in stable condition.
Eleven cases of Legionnaires' disease were reported last year.
