The 2006 Flower Show, featuring more than 350,000 specimens, will run March 3 to 12 at Victoria Park, from 9am to 9pm daily.
Exotic flower, landscape and floral art displays by over 180 participants from Hong Kong, the Mainland and overseas will be showcased.
With the theme "Enchanting Beauty", the show's theme flower is the Dianthus, known for its brilliant colours and charming forms. There are more than 30,000 varieties.
Fringe activities including music and dance performances, green talks, floral art demonstrations and games will also be featured at the event.
Tickets are available until March 12 at the Leisure & Cultural Services Department's District Leisure Services Offices, and venues with Leisure Link services. Admission for adults is $14. Children aged four to 14, students, senior citizens and the disabled are half price. On weekdays, seniors and the disabled will have free admission while 30 or more adults are half price.
