The Centre for Health Protection is investigating a food poisoning report involving 11 men and a woman, aged 44 to 58.
They developed abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and fever after having lunch at a Tuen Mun hotel on January 6.
All sought treatment from general practitioners. None required hospitalisation.
Bacterial contamination is the likely cause and further investigations are underway.
