The Centre for Health Protection is investigating a food poisoning case involving 11 people, aged 10 to 74, who ate at a Wong Tai Sin restaurant on December 30.
The six men and five women developed abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and fever after the meal. Five sought medical treatment from private doctors. Their symptoms were generally mild and none were hospitalised.
Initial investigations showed the outbreak may have been caused by bacterial contamination. Further investigation is in progress.
