Imported Dengue fever case confirmed

The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed an imported case of Dengue fever, bringing the year's total to 29.

 

The patient is a 42-year-old man who developed fever, muscle and joint pain on November 26. He was admitted to a private hospital on December 1 and was discharged on December 8. He travelled to Indonesia October 24 to November 24.

 

The centre urges people to guard against the disease and prevent mosquito breeding.
