Mobile expedition brings art to the people
*

The "Mobile Art Expedition" transforms buses and ferry pier into art galleries, bringing local visual arts to the people and enhancing the city's cultural identity.

An open competition under the theme "Diary of Hong Kong" attracted 116 entries, from which 27 artworks were selected for the bus compartment category and 14 for the ferry pier category.

Reproductions of the 27 winning bus-compartment entries will be on display from December 3 for six months inside nine buses on four New World First Bus and City Bus Limited routes.

Where to see art in motion

The bus routes are:

* NWFB's 8P: between Siu Sai Wan (Island Resort) and Wan Chai Ferry Pier, and 112: between North Point (Pak Fuk Road) and So Uk; and

*Citybus's 962: between Tuen Mun (Lung Mun Oasis) and Causeway Bay (Moreton Terrace) and 969: between Tin Shui Wai Town Centre and Causeway Bay (Moreton Terrace).

The winning ferry-pier entries will be on display in the First Ferry Pier 5 waiting area in Central for six months.
