Six Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital doctors and nurses have come down with fever and respiratory infection symptoms since November 11.

The two men and four women belong to the the Department of Paediatrics & Adolescent Medicine. Three have recovered and the others are on sick leave. Influenza A and B tests yielded negative results.

The department is running as normal and staff have been advised to wear surgical masks. Cleansing will be enhanced in all departmental offices and meeting rooms.
