Bird flu

Reporting of sick, dead birds urged

AFCD

The Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department urges anyone that finds sick or dead birds to call Government hotline 1823.

 

The birds will be collected and tested for avian influenza.

 

The department has stepped up inspections of pet bird shops, and reminded operators of proper hygiene standards.
