Four child residents in Caritas Medical Centre's Developmental Disabilities Unit have developed fever and upper respiratory symptoms. Their condition is stable.

The two boys and two girls, aged eight to 13, have been transferred to an isolation ward. The cases have been reported to the Hospital Authority and the Centre of Health Protection.

Infection control measures have been stepped up at the unit. Visiting arrangements remain unchanged. Other child residents are under close surveillance.
