York Chow to attend WHO meeting
*

Secretary for Health, Welfare & Food Dr York Chow, at the invitation of the World Health Organisation, will lead a delegation to attend the 56th session of the WHO Regional Committee for the Western Pacific September 19 in New Caledonia.

 

The delegation includes Director of Health Dr Lam Ping-yan, Assistant Director of Health Dr Gloria Tam, and Centre for Health Protection Consultant Dr Thomas Tsang.

 

Dr Chow will also visit Australia September 13 to 18 to learn about the Australian healthcare system. During his stay in Canberra and Sydney he will call on his counterparts.

 

Dr Chow will return to Hong Kong September 21.
