*
HPC logo (Eng version)

The Centre for Health Protection is investigating four suspected cases of food poisoning involving at least 19 people. Twelve felt ill after eating at a Tsim Sha Tsui hotel, while the remainder got sick after eating at a restaurant in Kwun Tong.

The first two cases involved 12 students of two secondary schools in Tseung Kwan O who ate in the hotel on June 20 and June 21.

The other seven people developed diarrhoea, abdominal pain, fever, nausea and vomiting about 12 to 24 hours after eating at the restaurant on June 19 and 22. No one required hospitalisation.
