The Centre for Health Protection is investigating the poisoning of eight people who attended a banquet in a Tsuen Wan restaurant.
The three men and five women, aged 19 to 56, developed diarrhoea, abdominal pain and vomiting two to 24 hours after the dinner on May 17. All are in stable condition.
About 200 people attended the banquet and the outbreak is believed to be a bacterial food poisoning case.
