The International Arts Carnival will be held from July 8 to August 21, featuring over 480 fun family events.
Six troupes from Canada, Japan, the Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Brazil and Spain will join 23 local groups to give exciting stage performances like acrobatics, puppetry, music, dance, drama and comedy.
Kicking off this year's carnival is the Asian premiere of Nomade, by Canadians Cirque Eloize. It blends acrobatics, dance and music to bring a surreal journey beyond imagination.

The carnival has three main series namely HeARTS Linked, ABC Come & See and Andersen Series.
The HeARTS Linked series will feature a number of fun and creative programmes while the ABC, Come & See series is a fun-fest especially for kids. In celebration of Hans Christian Andersen's bicentenary, the festival will bring three stage performances inspired by his immortal tales.
The New Generation series for teenagers will explore their creativity with a multimedia dance workshop, a stage photography workshop and a video workshop.
Apart from performances, the event will feature workshops, school tours, exhibitions, cultural tours, a graphic design competition, library and museum activities.
