The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed Enterovirus-71 in a three-year-old girl, bringing the year's total cases to four.
The girl developed oral lesions, a rash and vesicles over her limbs on May 9. She has recovered. She and 11 other children, aged two to four, studying in the same Tsing Yi childcare centre developed hand-foot-mouth symptoms.
All the children have recovered and none required hospitalisation. The centre is closely monitoring the situation in the centre.
