The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed Enterovirus-71 in a three-year-old boy, bringing the year's total cases to three so far.

The boy developed oral lesions, a rash and vesicles over his limbs on May 9. He is now in stable condition. He and 11 other children, aged two to four, studying in the same Tsing Yi childcare centre developed hand-foot-mouth symptoms.
